Sungai Besi-Ulu Kelang Elevated Expressway (SUKE) project team is overseeing by the Group CEO of PROLINTAS; led by a General Manager who is assisted by Project Managers , all of whom comes with broad civil engineering and public infrastructure experience, locally and abroad.
The team and their turnkey counterparts are responsible for ensuring every aspect of the planning, designing, constructing and operations including contractor and consultant management adheres to PROLINTAS stringent processes, acts and regulations.
Chief Operating Officer (Project & Operations)
Ir. Rostam Shahrif Tami
Ir. Rostam Shahrif Tami was appointed Chief Operating Officer (Project & Operations) in 2016. He currently oversees PROLINTAS’ overall operations for projects and operations under its subsidiaries namely Projek Lintasan Kota Sdn Bhd, PROLINTAS Expressway Sdn Bhd, Projek Lintasan Shah Alam Sdn Bhd, Projek Lintasan Sungai Besi-Ulu Klang Sdn Bhd, Projek Lintasan Damansara-Shah Alam Sdn Bhd, Sistem Lingkaran-Lebuhraya Kajang Sdn Bhd and Turnpike Synergy Sdn Bhd.
He holds a Bachelor of Engineering (First Class Honours) Degree in Civil Engineering from the Polytechnic of East London, England. He started his career in 1990 as a Structural/Bridge Engineer at Minconsult Sdn. Bhd. before joining Pengurusan Lebuhraya Bhd and later Malaysian Resources Corporation Bhd. He joined PROLINTAS in January 1998.
Ir. Dr. Md. Zarulazam Bin Md. Eusofe
Ir. Dr. Md. Zarulazam Bin Md. Eusofe has vast experience, especially in the highway construction & operation field. He started his engineering career in 2004 with a multinational infrastructure contractor in Malaysia as a Project Engineer.
Later, he joined Malaysian Highway Authority in 2005 where he extensively involved in several large scale highway privatisation’s projects such as the New Pantai Expressway, lane widening and through traffic improvement scheme of the North-South Expressway, Besraya Eastern Extension Expressway, Sungai Buaya Interchange of the North-South Expressway.
Ir. Dr Md. Zarulazam is a certified Professional Engineer with Practising Certificate (PEPC) registered with Board of Engineers Malaysia (BEM) since 2011, a Corporate Member of Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) as well as Institution of Civil Engineers (ICE), UK. He is also a Talent Pool Committee Member of Road Engineering Association of Malaysia (REAM) and Road Engineering Association of Asia & Australasia (REAAA) and also a certified Associate ASEAN Engineer (AAE). At the same time, he is also a Member of the Malaysian Institute of Management (MIM).
Rosnah Md Nazir
Rosnah Md Nazir was appointed as Senior Manager in November 2012. A graduate of Civil Engineering with 28 years of experience ranging from road and infrastructure design, cost estimations, planning and scheduling, and project and construction management, including infrastructure relocation. She has worked with consultants, contractors and developers in UAE and Malaysia.
She started her career as a Design Engineer with JK (S.E.A) and Ranhill Bersekutu in public projects such as the North-South Expressway Central Link, KLIA Expressway, MEX Highway, Malaysian – Singapore Second Crossing new Township, Sime UEP Housing and Industrial Park Project, Melaka Ring Road Project, Brunei Southern Outer Ring Road, North-South Expressway, Port Expansion at West Port Pulau Lumut and many other housing schemes.
She then joined Perpec Prime (M) Sdn Bhd as a Planning Engineer for the South Klang Valley Expressway, The Electrified Double Rail Track Project between Rawang to Ipoh, Pulau Indah Ring Road and Entebbe resort in Uganda. Expanding her career internationally, she joined Nakheel PJSC in April 2008, the second-largest developer in UAE. She was the Planning Engineer for the Dubai Waterfront Project–Veneto and Madinat Al Arab.
Rosnah joined PROLINTAS in August 2010 as an Assistant Planning Manager, involved in the development of SUKE and DASH projects. She began to focus on SUKE’s project and construction in March 2017.
Ir. Mohd Faizal Atan
Ir. Mohd Faizal Atan (P.Eng and C.Peng) pursued his tertiary education at the University of Portsmouth and Heriot-Watt University, the United Kingdom where he obtained a Bachelor’s Degree (Honours) in Civil Engineering and a Master’s Degree in Construction Project Management respectively.
Faizal is a registered Professional Engineer with Practicing Certificate from the Board of Engineers Malaysia, a Corporate Member with the Institution of Engineers Malaysia (IEM) since 2007, a Chartered Engineer with the National Engineering Registration Board of Australia and a Chartered Professional Engineer with the Institution of Engineers Australia (IEA). He is also an International Professional Engineer with EMF and a Corporate Member of the Asia Pacific Economic Corporation (APEC) Engineer.
Faizal started his career in the construction field with Peremba Holdings Sdn Bhd in 1998 for a year before moving on to Minconsult Sdn Bhd, a leading engineering consultancy firm in Malaysia. His role as the Deputy General Manager for Bridge & Marine Division at Minconsult includes planning, management, coordination, liaison, project proposals and design control to clients. In 2017, he joined PROLINTAS to manage the SUKE project.
He has extensive experience in multi-scale infrastructure projects which involved the construction of highways and bridges such as PLUS Highway Widening, East-West Highway, East Coast Expressway, ECERDC Bukit Kuang Bridge, Kuantan Bypass Highway and Pan Borneo (Sarawak) Highway. He was also involved in railway projects such as Petronas Kuantan–Kerteh Railway, Ipoh–Rawang Double Tracking Railway, Ipoh–Padang Besar Double Tracking Railway, Kelana Jaya LRT Extension and Petaling Jaya – Port Klang LRT. Involved in providing expertise as Independent Consulting Engineer (ICE) for reviewing Penang Second Bridge Crossing, Security Printing Plant in Bukit Tagar & West Port Container Terminal 3 Project and also involved in the feasibility study and preliminary design for MRT Line 3 Project for Mass Rapid Transit Corporation and High Speed Rail Kuala Lumpur – Singapore Project for Ministry of Transport.
At the international front, he was assigned to manage the Campbell Bridge–Mulgowie Road Project in Brisbane, Australia for the Department of Transport Main Roads (DTMR) and also provides engineering design support for highway rehabilitation projects in Afghanistan from Balkh to Andkoy (182 Km) and from Kandahar to Spin Boldak under Asian Development Bank (ADB).
